1) What Proofworks is
Proofworks provides a platform to submit claims and supporting proof, and to route those submissions to independent reviewers ("Stewards"). If a submission meets Proofworks' issuance criteria, a serialized "Degree of Proof" may be issued.
2) What you are paying for
  • Facilitation of your submission, proof storage, and review routing.
  • Administrative processing and auditability features (history, status, trace).
  • System operation and stewardship tooling.
3) What you are not buying
  • You do not buy a Degree of Proof.
  • You do not buy an entry in the Proofworks database.
  • Degrees are earned through review outcomes, and may be revoked or modified at any time without notice.
4) Submissions, decisions, and do-overs
  • Submitting proof does not guarantee approval.
  • If a submission is denied, Proofworks may allow a single free do-over at Proofworks' discretion.
  • Additional do-overs, re-reviews, or escalations may be offered or declined at any time.
5) Steward participation and compensation
  • Stewards may be offered compensation, but compensation is never guaranteed.
  • Payout policy may change over time and may differ between reviews and do-overs.
6) Acceptable use
  • You will not submit unlawful content, or proof you do not have the right to share.
  • You will not impersonate others or fabricate evidence.
  • Abuse, fraud, and manipulation attempts may lead to account restriction and removal of Degrees.
7) Limitation of liability
Proofworks provides a platform and process - not a guarantee of outcomes, reputation, employment, or acceptance by third parties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proofworks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
